Sometimes there is a shot that just stands out. This was one of those times. I was shooting another model across the room and turned and saw this model patiently waiting leaning on a pillar. Perfect timing!

My wife runs a modeling agency and is the state directory for the Michigan Galaxy Pageant. We love to work with young women who want to get into modeling or just get a self esteem boost. Modeling portfolio shoots can be a blast and allow me to be creative and take chances with my photography.
This picture was taken in a warehouse with a first time model.
Group Shoot

A group photo shoot is a great way for a model to get experience and develop a portfolio. Defoe Photography in conjunction with 3D Agency will be hosting a group photoshoot on May 3rd, 2008 at the historic Schuch Hotel & Saloon in Saginaw, Michigan.
 
There will be four photographers, a hair designer and two makeup artisits. Some clothing will be provided by A Girly Girl Boutique. Each model is requested to bring a victorian style dress, if possible.
The cost of the shoot is $35 per model. What do you get for your $35?
